Indig Balázs
Balázs Indig is an assistant professor at the Faculty of Informatics at Eötvös Loránd University. He obtained his PhD in natural language processing in 2018 and was the lead developer of the enhanced version of the e-magyar digital language processing system (emtsv) and the leader of the Web harvesting project in the National Laboratory for Digital Heritage. In 2025, he was awarded a Bolyai research scholarship. His research interests focus on linguistics-centered solutions to fundamental language technology tasks in Hungarian, the recognition of linguistic patterns, and their search in large text corpora. He is the co-organizer of the Workshop on Analogies and Linguistic Constructions (MANYEK) event series, as well as a member of the Stylistic Research Group in DiAGram Research Centre for Functional Linguistics and the Hungarian Constructicon project.
